Shipping Costs within New Zealand:

Small items - $5.00

Medium items - $10.00

Large items - $15.00

 

Please allow 1-5 working days for delivery. However some rural or remote locations may be longer.

Shipping costs vary depending on the product purchased and the delivery address.

Please note we can not ship to P.O. Box addresses.

We use NZ Post as our courier provider. To track your order, please go to www.nzpost.co.nz/tracking and use the tracking number provided in your dispatch email. Please allow up to 48 hours for the track and trace feature to be enabled. If you are still having trouble tracking your order and would like to check the status of your delivery, please email whatswhat@merchantlane.co.nz and we will help you as best we can. 

Merchant Lane will always send your purchase using track & trace postage.

Merchant Lane do not take responsibility for delivery delays due to unforeseen circumstances or incorrect postal addresses supplied by the customer.

Merchant Lane requires payment in full before an order is accepted, processed and dispatched for delivery. We will get in touch by email with confirmation of purchase, and a tracking number when your order has been shipped.

 


 

Returns & Exchanges

If you’re not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, rest assured.

We have a 100% money back guarantee.                                                                       

1. We’re in no doubt that you’ll love your purchase, but if you’re not 100% satisfied, simply contact us within 7 days of purchase to arrange a refund or exchange. The only cost for you is to cover the return shipping, and/or the cost of the replacement shipping. All packaging, labels and the product must be intact and as new.  (If you’d like to please share with us, we’d love to know why you decided to return or replace your leather product. It’s how we continue to improve our brand!)

2.  If you weren’t dissatisfied but for some reason happened to change your mind and no longer want the leather accessory you ordered, simply contact us within 7 days of purchase to arrange a refund or exchange.  As above, you’ll be responsible for return shipping and sending back the product just as you received it, with all it’s bits & bobs.

3. Merchant Lane thoroughly check all products for faults before dispatch, so if you’ve received a faulty item we sincerely apologise, and we’ll get another out to you promptly! Please get in touch with us ASAP at whatswhat@merchantlane.co.nz and attach a pic. Once we have assessed the situation we will repair, replace or refund the item, at our discretion as per the Consumer Guarantees Act. We’ll wear any return costs if we’re at fault. Faulty items must be returned to us within 14 days of you receiving the product.

4. We hope you’re aware that all Merchant Lane leather products are handcrafted. As in HANDMADE. By a real person, not a machine, or a robot. We’re just saying, each product is unique and imperfect. And as with all real leathers, there will be variations and inconsistencies in colour, markings and characteristics of a genuine goat hide. This is a natural material and will age, soften with use, and is prone to moisture absorption as-well as releasing it’s naturals toxins. Please ensure you understand how to clean, care for and protect your genuine goat leather goods under our CARE page on the Merchant Lane website. Any requests for returns due to leather imperfections or blemishes will not be granted.

5.  If returning, note that you are responsible for the product until it reaches us, therefore please send the package with a dispatch number so it can be traced. And we’ll need the receipt to process the refund or exchange.

6. We can not exchange sale items, items not in original condition or packaging, or products returned after the 7 day original purchase period.
